We have been supporting The British Olympic Association (BOA) for many years with films about elite sport and the Olympics.
The BOA value video material and we have been able to support them across all of their activities, including launches, promo's, appeals, user generated films, events coverage - most recently in support of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
In terms of events, we have provided reportage and highlights reels for numerous announcements & launches. We have also supported formal events such as the BOA's annual Ball, where we have created openers, stings, appeal films & action packed VT’s.
For both the 2010 Vancouver and 2008 Beijing Games, the BOA used our experience of online video sharing, social networking and user generated content production to bring the Olympics to the traditionally hard to reach 13-17 year old age group.
For the Beijing and Vancouver Olympic Games we designed a large scale ‘video diary project’ which saw over 200 diaries shot by 35 athletes. We also provided documentaries & podcasts and managed online syndication to leading social networking and video sharing sites. Over 6 hours of completed documentary was made from user-generated content giving audiences previously unseen access to the lives of elite athletes.
We have also provided numerous videos for them and their partners to play on the network of Live Sites across the UK.
